In a bowl put flour, add lard, egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and sour cream (if you do not mix the dough add 1 -2 tablespoons, depending on how much the dough requires), baking powder and grated peel of lemon.
Knead until all the ingredients are incorporated and obtain a dough that is not very hard but also very soft (a dough that can be stretched). We divide the dough obtained into 2 parts. We spread a part in the tray so that there is a surplus of dough on the edges.
We clean the apples and grate them. Squeeze them, add sugar, cinnamon and semolina.
We place the apples thus prepared over the dough spread in the tray and we start to spread the second sheet that we will place on top of the filling. The top sheet with a fork is pricked from place to place to allow the steam that forms to come to the surface.
Put the cake in the preheated oven and leave it until it turns golden on top.
Remove from the oven, leave to cool then sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut.
